Process Design Center (PDC) and Sinko ID enter strategic cooperation to accelerate industrial innovation and energy transition projects

Delft, 8 June 2026 – Process Design Center (PDC), an international team of conceptual process design experts, and Sinko ID, an industrial innovation and development platform focused on accelerating the energy transition and circular industry, are pleased to announce a strategic cooperation agreement.

The cooperation pairs PDC’s expertise in process design, techno-economic assessment, and industrial sustainability with Sinko ID’s focus on industrial innovation, pilot and demonstration development, as well as on scaling next-generation industrial technologies.

Together, they support the development of innovative industrial projects in areas such as sustainable energy, hydrogen, circular feedstocks, decarbonization, and other advanced process technologies.

Sinko ID is currently developing an open innovation ecosystem in the Port of Rotterdam designed to connect industry, technology developers, research organizations, and scale-ups. PDC will contribute its expertise to help accelerate the transition from innovation concepts and pilots toward industrial implementation and commercial deployment.

Hans Keuken at PDC:

“The industrial sector is in a major transformation driven by sustainability goals, digitalization, and the need for faster innovation. By cooperating with Sinko ID, we can combine process design expertise with a strong innovation ecosystem to help bring new technologies to industrial reality.”
— Hans Keuken at PDC

Frank Hollander, Managing Director at Sinko ID:

“Our ambition is to create and facilitate an environment where innovative technologies can be developed, tested, scaled, and implemented faster. PDC’s extensive experience in process design at industrial scale makes them a highly valuable partner in supporting industrial innovation and energy transition initiatives.”
— Frank Hollander, Managing Director at Sinko ID

The cooperation will focus on supporting industrial clients, start-ups, scale-ups, and technology developers with engineering support, feasibility studies, conceptual process development, pilot and demonstration activities, and industrial scale-up strategies in Europe and beyond.
