Pilot Plant Operator

About the Role

As a Pilot Plant Operator at Sinko ID, you are responsible for operating and maintaining pilot and demo plants across a variety of innovative technologies. You play a key role in ensuring that installations run safely, reliably, and efficiently during test campaigns.

This is a dynamic role where no project is the same. You will work with different clients and technologies, requiring flexibility and adaptability in both technical execution and working patterns. You report directly to the Pilot Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• ●Operate and maintain pilot and demo plants during test campaigns
• ●Ensure full compliance with safety standards, procedures, and site regulations
• ●Apply in-depth knowledge of process control and process safety
• ●Monitor and optimize plant performance during operations
• ●Troubleshoot and resolve operational and technical issues
• ●Advise management on process-related and operational matters
• ●Contribute to setting up and improving site rules and operational procedures
• ●Support safe startup, shutdown, and transition between projects

Flexibility & Working Environment

We operate in a highly dynamic environment where no two clients or projects are the same. This requires a high degree of flexibility:

• ●You may work on different processes and installations depending on the project
• ●Shift work, including full continuous operations, may be required for specific projects

What We're Looking For

• ●MBO+ level or proven track record, preferably with VAPRO B or C
• ●5-10 years of relevant experience in plant operations or similar environments
• ●Strong understanding of process control and process safety
• ●Hands-on, responsible, and safety-driven mindset
• ●Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• ●Good communication skills and willingness to provide operational input
