Site / Pilot Plant Manager

About the Role

As a Site Manager at Sinko ID, you are responsible for all technical aspects of the pilot and demo plants. From design and construction to operation and maintenance, you ensure that all installations are safe, compliant, and fully functional.

These facilities are used by innovative companies and startups to test and scale up new chemical and process technologies. In this role, you play a key part in bridging the gap between laboratory research and full-scale industrial production.

Key Responsibilities

• ●Oversee the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of pilot and demo plants
• ●Ensure pilot plants are safe, compliant, and fully operable at all times
• ●Take responsibility for HSE, quality, compliance, engineering, and construction activities
• ●Lead and support a team of operators, technicians, and engineers
• ●Act as a hands-on leader, actively involved in day-to-day operations and problem-solving
• ●Coordinate and interact with clients, site organization, Sinko's Engineering team, and other internal departments
• ●Ensure safe startup, operation, and shutdown of experimental processes
• ●Troubleshoot technical and operational issues during pilot runs
• ●Drive continuous improvement of processes, safety, and performance
• ●Reporting to Managing Director

What We're Looking For

• ●HBO+ degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
• ●5-10 years of relevant experience in plant operations, pilot plants, or industrial processes
• ●Strong leadership and communication skills
• ●Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset
• ●Solid understanding of HSE and regulatory requirements
• ●Affinity with innovation and sustainability
